Barbara Davidson Pottery was started in Larbert in 1969,
by Barbara and her then fiancee - Brian. At first everything
was made on the wheel, but demand soon outstripped supply,
and casting and jolleying were introduced, under the trade
name of "Larbert Pottery".
A move to larger premises at Muirhall
Farm in Larbert was undertaken in 1973, which has
provided an ideal location for the small living and
working Pottery. The Pottery Shop is still in the
old byre, but now there is an additional GIFT SHOP
- in the farm machinery store.
